2. Fish bait - long form made out of iron skewers and use a comb with a hook and line underneath. It also comes with eight or more handmade hook . There is also fish bait made by a local company that has two comb hook and line without having crags. How to use it is to beak the fish as bait. inserted it from the mouth of the fish until the hole at the bait reach the tail of the fish,hook the swivel into the hole and close it. There is another method of using wires that attach to the leader and tie up into the hole of the fish bait. Next this fish bait can be applied with sinkers or ranggung (whether made of horn or large size line), which requires leader between three to five meters in length. When using this method, we are encouraged to extend this to two or three fish bait with water depth, meaning one into base, second in the midst of the water and the other one is in the surface water. For surface water,sinkers does not need to be used and preferably using a bobbers.  tambang, selayang, dan kacang are very suitable for use as bait. Fish size shall not exceed the length of fish bait.

3.artificial prawn bait – this bait is  glow-in-the-dark bait which attracts squid with its light .It was recently introduced and are in use publically , likely in seven years off ( not sure ) . this bait is very suitable to catch torak & mengabang . With a solid form and can compensate for the body in the water will attracts squid. similar method like fish bait,it need to reach on the base using sinkers.There are luxury brand of this candat like yo-zuri,shimano & yamashita.

To deceive squid, appollo technique using light bait and fish bait .this technique is more suitable to be used while sitting on a boat . this bait need to bump up and down several times to deceive squid like diagram ( A ) below .To use prawn bait , drag slowly the bait in using casting such a diagram ( B ) This technique is suitable for use at the edge of the rocky area and also on the boat . Eging techniques is more to catch Mengabang squid .
